Valerie Carter - Implant Coordinator

For 23 years Valerie has gained experience in a variety of aspects of medicine, dentistry and surgery, but her passion is oral surgery. With her many years of experience and her professional training as a licensed Surgical Technician, Valerie is a perfect fit. In addition to her vast experience , Valerie's warm professional demeanor will put you at ease. She joined Dr.Korb's team as the full-time implant coordinator.  In this role , it is her duty and pleasure to assist you in your journey to meet your dental goals.

Outside the office Valerie is the proud mother of two boys Joey & Christian and enjoys their four footed companions Gracie & Reggie.   

Kim Battles - Front Office Coordinator

With more than 15 years of dental experience Kim's friendly voice is probably the first one you will hear when you call Dr. Korb's office.  Her front office and surgical team experience will easily guide you through your initial conact with our office.

Kim is married and the proud mother of nine year old David.  Their entire family enjoys the Georgia Bulldogs and rarely miss the chance to tailgate at the games.

Jean King - Surgical Assistant

Jean is a native Georgian from Monticello. She attended Henderson High and graduated from Dekalb Technical College. Jean has six years general dental experience prior to joining Dr. Korb in 2007.  She has excelled well as a surgical assistant and with her caring nature she is a natural.  

She has lived in Cumming since 1987 and has seen Forsyth County grow beyond belief.  She has a teen aged son and enjoys watching his various sporting events.  She is an active member in her church, Jean also enjoys staying fit, exercising and visiting family and friends at the beach.  

Beccy Michalek - Nurse/Surgical Assistant

Beccy is originally from Buffalo, New York.  She has been a nurse for over 10 years.  Her background in dialysis/renal failure, hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis, HTN, dermatology, orthopedic & spinal procedures has brought additional expertise to our surgical staff.  Beccy joined Dr. Korb's practice in 2007.  Her knowledge, compassion, and outgoing personality is appreciated by patients.

Beccy has been involved in dancing for over 20 years & has been a professional dancer for multiple AFL teams.  Beccy married her husband, Scott in 2006 & are expecting their first child in late 2010.  

Vickie Durand - Front Office Coordinator/Nurse

Vickie has been a nurse in oral surgery for more than 14 years, the last three with Dr. Korb. Her unique combination of training as a nurse and significant experience in oral surgery make her a real asset in our team's ability to deliver superior patient care. Her caring manner and soft spoken voice help to relax even the most anxious patients.

Vickie is the mother of two grown children.  Outside the office, she enjoys playing tennis and her and her husband are active in their church. 

Linda White- Surgical Assistant

Linda has been a surgical assistant with Dr. Korb for five years. Prior to coming to our office Linda worked as a dental assistant in both general dental and periodontic offices. Linda's many years in the dental field give make her a wealth of knowledge. Linda has a warm funny bedside manner that patients immediately find comforting, and she never forgets a face.

Outside the office Linda enjoys working as an aesthetician. She and her husband frequently can be found at the gym working out. The White family is active in sports and their community.

Candice Cromberge - Surgical Assistant

Candice is orginally from South Africa. She has lived in the Atlanta area since 1994. Candice attended Milton High School in Alpharetta followed by GA State. Candice joined Dr. Korb's practice in 2010 and brings 5 years Oral Surgery experience. She lives in Alpharetta and is planning to be married in October 2010. Candice enjoys being outdoors, boating, motorcycle riding and excerising.

Rebecca Sepulveda -Office Assistant

Becca Jo, one of Dr. Korb's newest team members, is also new to the dental field. With over 9 years in a medical unit in the United States Air Force, she brings a lot to the table. She is the person behind the scenes who ensures everything will run smoothly. From sterilizing instruments and setting up trays to dealing with insurance companies, her attention to detail and her desire to meet and exceed expectations in every task presented to her is sure to make YOUR visit be an enjoyable one.

Becca Jo and her husband are brand new parents to their son, Andres. Outside the office, she serves her country in the GA Air National Guard. She also enjoys college football and teaching her son to love the Texas Longhorns, but don't tell her husband.

Christine Shea - Professional Referrals Coord.

Christine joins Dr. Korb's practice with 10 years experience in Oral Surgery. She comes with several aspects of Oral Surgery from surgical assisting to office management. Christine isn't new to Dr. Korb's practice, she first joined Dr. Korb in 1994 where they worked closely together to build his practice.

Christine is happily married and a proud mother of 2 daughter's Mackenzie who is 6 and Bailey who is 5. Christine enjoys spending time with her family, being a vital part of her children's school and contributing in whatever she can to help find an end to breast cancer. Christine is a 3 year breast cancer survivor and she lives every moment to the fullest.
